San Pasqual ride in North San Diego.
San Pasqual ride in North San Diego. This was our first ride last year as a ministry! We park next to Lake Hodges and ride East on the Sea to Sea trail. The first few miles are rolling gentle wide track through beautiful agricultural lands. There is a bit of a climb at the mid point, but you can push your bike if you need to. On the back-side the ride continues near the Wild Animal Park in a valley surrounded by mountains, finishing in an Orange Grove. About 3-4 hours, 15+ miles or we can cut it short if needed. .
What to bring:
1. Helmet, of course. No helmet, No ride (we just love that head of yours!!!)
2. Water, bring at least 60oz.
4. Sunscreen – (weather depending)
5. Shorts and short sleeve shirts (see previous).
Directions: 15 North
Exit W. Bernardo Dr. & Pomordo Rd. Turn Left on Pomordo Rd.
Go about a 1/4 mile and turn right into the dirt parking lot. There’s a brown wooden sign that says “Bernardo Bay Natural Area”.
